First of all; thanks for your donations! Many wetsuits, lycra's, clothes, leashes, booties and even surfboards have been donated so far. A special thanks goes to the Holland Surfing Association [HSA] for donating a fair amount of used lycra's! Once again: THANKS!
Although many wetsuits have been donated so far, some projects are still in need for old surfgear, especially small sized summersuits, lycra's and leashes. So, don't hesitate and donate YOUR old surfgear!

Small sized wetsuits and softtop boards needed for Gaza surfers.
March 2010
Currently, we are in contact with Surfing4Peace and Explore Corps in regard to their projects in the Gaza strip. Efforts are done to make surfing accesible for Gaza surfers as well. They have made clear that they are in great need for small-sized wetsuits and softtop boards. We truly hope surfing can bring people together and open up the dialogue between Israeli and Palestinians. Therefore, we need your help and donations!

Collaborate rather than inventing the wheel over and over.
March 2010
Since Right to Surf strongly believes in the power of collaboration, we're really happy to be in contact with the Californian non-profit 'A Warm Current'. This non-profit organization collects and distribute wetsuits in order to reduse local waste and make surfing accesible in coastal town around the world. Currently, our collaboration means exchanging ideas and experiences. Offcourse we'll hope to help each other out in future activities! Saludos a nostros amigos de California!

Lycras donated in Brazil and Ecuador.
February 2010
Early 2010 ten lycras have been donated to the local communities of Canoa (Ecuador) and Brazil. Instead of being thrown away the lycras were of great use in South America! Enough said, just watch those happy faces!
Lycras donated in Robertsport, Liberia.
February 2010
Also Early 2010, fifteen lycras have been donated to the Liberian surf community. We'll hope to be able to show a photo update soon!
One man's trash
In 2008 and 2009 your donated surfgear has been sent to projects in Peru and Senegal. Wetsuits in particular have been travelling to those locations! Unfortunately, the Senegal initiative struggles with many difficulties making it uncertain if this project will be continued. For more info about one of those initiatives, please scroll to the projects page.
